Lock Mechanism

When the installation process is complete you should be able to latch the cover anywhere along the rail by pushing firmly on the lock handle. The effort needed to latch the cover will decrease as the lock mechanism takes a set. The lock can be adjusted if needed. At the bottom of the lock is an adjustable steel tip that contacts the rail. To increase or decrease the pressure needed to latch the lock along the rail, adjust the steel tip in or out using a 7/16" wrench and a 1/8" allen (hex) head wrench.
