1. How Does RETRAX Work?
   The RETRAX™ bed cover is engineered to provide strong, rigid canopy cover over your pickup bed. The cover flexes as it rolls into the front spiral assembly which measures just over 10" square. It rides on sealed precision ball bearings to insure a smooth, easy roll under all weather and temperature conditions.

2. What Is It Made Of?
   The RETRAX™ is manufactured from an industrial strength Lexan sheet. This advanced thermoplastic is unaffected by temperature from -50 to +230. The cover is reinforced with 15 tempered aluminum rods for extra load bearing capacity. RETRAX™ will support up to 100 lbs in one area.

3. Will It Keep The Bed Dry? What About Snow and Ice?
   You RETRAX™ is sealed on all sides with automotive grade weatherstrip that virtually eliminates water leakage under even the most severe conditions. Snow and ice may accumulate on the cover without damage to the cover or its function. The cover will support 12" of wet snow with ease.

4. How Does It Lock?
   The RETRAX™ bed cover can be latched at any point along the rail as well as fully open and closed. The key lock and optional tailgate lock provide total security.

5. Will It Improve My Gas Mileage? Input from our customers and our own experience indicates that your gas mileage should improve between 7% and 15% on the highway with RETRAX™ closed.

6. How Will It Be Installed?
   Installation is simple. All parts are an exact match to your pickup. A compact clamp system is used to mount RETRAX™ to your pickup with no drilling required. All parts that come in contact with you bed are rubber mounted to prevent paint damage. If Desired, the entire RETRAX™ can be easily removed in minutes.

7. Is It Compatible With Other Aftermarket Accessories?
   The RETRAX™ is compatible with most accessories such as bedliners and bed rails. Some may require minor modification to the RETRAX™ or the accessory.

8. How do I maintain the finish of my RETRAX™ cover?
   No maintenance required.
   Suggestion: every 6 months remove canister lid, check for leaves and that the drain tubes are open.
   To maintain finish, treat as you would your truck.
